The fund reimburses, up to specified limits, eligible clients who can demonstrate hardship and financial loss as a result of the criminal act of a CSIC member.
How it benefits the consumer
Certified Canadian Immigration Consultants (CCIC) are required to carry Errors and Omissions Insurance, but this does not protect consumers against the potential criminal actions of CSIC members such as fraud and theft. IMMFUND-IMMFONDS offers consumers of immigration services an added layer of protection by financially compensating them against the losses incurred at the hands of nefarious immigration consultants.
How it is financed
IMMFUND-IMMFONDS is financed through membership fees and sales of continuing professional development (CPD) products on-line.
